Moreover, the rise in the number of IT MNCs entering the country has resulted in an increased demand of IT professionals across all major SBUs of IT. Apart from the growing demand for highly skilled software professionals, there is also an increase in demand for aptly skilled Hardware and Networking professionals who play an important role in every arena of the organisation’s success.

The important role that these professionals perform becomes clear when it comes to network design, remote assistance and troubleshooting. They have the wherewithal to identify and eliminate the unknown aliens that reside in an organisation’s network setup. This results in huge benefit for the Company by preventing huge losses, as well as the users.

It is estimated by ASSOCHAM that there are 9 million jobs in IT and ITeS sector alone and by 2010 it is likely to go up to 25 million. Out of this it is estimated that 2.2 million jobs are in the Hardware and Networking sector. Recent MAIT & NASSCOM research report has revealed that the Indian Hardware sector is expected to touch US$ 62 billion by 2010. The requirement for Hardware manpower is estimated to be 1.2 million by 2010.

There is however a paradox. While there are jobs a plenty, there are not enough trained people to fill up the vacant slots.

That is exactly where IIJT comes in. IIJT’s Globally Certified Courses and Career Courses have been specifically designed to meet the demands of the industry. It focuses on bridging the gap between demand and supply of quality professionals. By combining theoretical knowledge with first hand practical experience so that IIJTians have all the requisite skills that potential recruiters are always looking for.
According to Shri Devesh Srivastava, CEO, “IIJT’s quest for excellence, creates the right attitude and optimizes students’ satisfaction levels. It has a strict vigilance in organizing every department, activity and people at all levels to improve structural, attitudinal behavioural and methodological delivery with special emphasis on consistency and quality.”
But then how would vocational training help aspiring job seekers? Shri Devesh Srivastava, CEO analyses the need succinctly, “University education does not necessarily prepare our young people for life; also there is no guarantee of a job after a University education. And that is exactly where we come in. Providing a perfect mix of theoretical knowledge and practical application so that out students are industry ready the day they step out of the institute.”
IIJT has been in the news lately. And for all the right reasons. Having achieved the rare distinction of being the only financial education institute in India to have its course validated by University of Cambridge International Examinations, to being recognized as the fastest growing educational institute in India. It may be pointed out here, that for its Infotech module, IIJT has already tied-up with several premier Indian and international associations for different programs, the most notable being RedHat, Microsoft, and CompTIA. This latest launch of Infotech module from IIJT will help students, who aspire to take up IT as a career with top quality training and hence top quality jobs.
